Our journey through the years

Founded under the guidance of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji

The 3 doyens of Ayurveda Dr. V.K. Dwivedi, Dr. B.D. Triguna and Dr. Balaraj Maharishi came together and with their teams of Ayurvedic scholars, physicians & scientists of the time and created a Super Rasayana, Maharishi Ayurveda Amrit Kalash which represents the essence of supreme knowledge derived from ancient Ayurvedic texts.

1986

Maharishi Ayurveda starts its operation under the guiding light of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi

1987

Launched its international operations to promote Ayurveda and provide natural healthcare solutions to people around the world.

1989

The first research paper was published. This research established the efficacy of Maharishi Amrit Kalash in the prevention of human platelet aggregation.

1990

The first clinical study was published. This was a double-blind study on Ayurvedic herbal preparation, Maharishi Amrit Kalash which was published in the International Journal of Psychosomatics.

1999

Received ISO 9001:1994 Quality Systems Certification for the design, production, and export of herbal products, attesting to our commitment to quality.

2000

Obtained Hazards Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) certification in November 2000 for adhering to operational standards for food safety management

2007

Obtained organic certification, ensuring that the products are free from synthetic chemicals and are produced using sustainable farming practices.

2010

Awarded the Ayush Premium Mark (Ayush PM) for the products, which signifies the highest quality and potency in Ayurvedic preparations.

2011

Received Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) certification as per WHO-GMP guidelines, attesting to its adherence to rigorous international standards for safety and quality in our manufacturing processes
Received NABL (National Accreditation Board Testing and Calibration Laboratories) certification for in-house testing laboratory, which ensures the accuracy and reliability of our product testing processes

2017

Received the COSMOS Organic certification for products, which is a globally recognized standard for organic and natural cosmetics. This certification reflects our commitment to using the highest quality natural and organic ingredients in our cosmetic formulations.

2018

Underwent a rebranding process to update its visual identity and packaging design for its products, with a focus on modernity while still retaining the traditional essence of Ayurveda.
